When exploring the creative and cultural industries, it can be overwhelming just how diverse and far-reaching yet intertwined the concepts and real world applications can be. Succinct examples of CCI can consequently be challenging to represent well. It might be easier just to have a conversation with our first guest this season, Mr. Raul Guzman. As a graduate of UCLA, NYU, and Johns Hopkins University he has degrees in History, Museum Studies, and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. He has applied his knowledge and passions to everything from commercial production design to working as an Assistant Director at a Non-Profit, and now has found a perfect fit as an Assistant Curator at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
